Farmhouse Stay

The Farmhouse

A true historic farmhouse that was built in our closest recorded find from the Poughkeepsie Journal 1862, in the hamlet of Billings, New York. The Ryan property has been restored into a modern country home that has four original bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a stone shower. The farmhouse is furnished with Ryan Farm made oak beds, seven full size in total and of course a fourteen person oak dining table which is the center of the house for families and small groups.

This country home has all the conveniences needed for an authentic stay in Dutchess County, but newly appointed for maximum comfort. The family room has a flat screen TV, high speed internet, a large sectional sofa for gatherings in the traditional salon and a library-game room adjacent for a family to spread out.

The house is meant to be rented totally, by one family or small party, not room by room so our guests can enjoy the same peaceful location and privacy on the farm many people have experienced for generations.

The Cottage - COMING SPRING 2019

The Cottage has also been restored to a two bedroom, one bathroom classic bungalow with attached side deck and views of the farm. The cottage sits just behind the farmhouse, yet still very private and positioned conveniently on the parking circle that is the center of the property.
